Curation Policy

For us here at, “curation” means finding, sharing and excerpting the most interesting, high quality and relevant articles and other material for our readers.

The internet was founded for sharing, and we want to continue in this spirit, by linking, recommending and excerpting great stories and ideas from around the web.

If we have curated an article from your site, it was because we thought it was outstanding in some way, and we wanted to recommend it and direct our readers to your site.

Our curation is designed to send our readers to your site and your articles.

If, for any reason, you wish us not to excerpt your articles, simply contact us and request that the article be taken down, and we will be happy to comply with your request.

Excerpting Policy

Most of the emails we receive are from publishers and authors who recognize the value of having their stories and articles shared, quoted, and commented on. The additional exposure increases their readership and reach, and ultimately their influence and profitability.

It’s a win-win-win situation – it brings benefits to our site, to the original publisher’s site, and most important of all, to the readers.

We excerpt your stories the way we hope others will curate our content.

If you like an article on our site and want to share it, we will be pleased and gratified.

Please feel free to excerpt as much of our content as you think will inform and entertain your readers. In return please just give us clear credit, links back to the article, and some encouragement for interested readers to visit the original article.

Our general guidelines for excerpts published on this site are

  • Never more than about 30 – 40% of any article
  • Never more than one article from any site in any one day
  • Never more than what is needed to communicate the essence of the article.
  • We always change the headline, and add context, meaning, and analysis to your articles.

Here is what we will never do:

  • We will never take your entire article.
  • We will never re-publish without full credit, links and sending you readers.
  • We will never republish an RSS feed verbatim.
  • We will never excerpt without the intention of sending you more traffic.

Most Importantly…

Our standards of delight may very well differ from yours. If you want us to be even more generous with links and credit let us know.

If you feel your story has had too much excerpted, let us know…..

We will fix it to your standards instantly.
